CHALLENGE

Ceisa Packaging, a plastic manufacturer and recycler, aims to significantly reduce the human environmental footprint by giving plastic waste a new life. Their ambitious project titled Reborn has two interdependent goals: to optimize the waste collection infrastructure, and to create 100%-recycled plastics that meet the strength and purity standards of today’s best industrial packaging. 

 

SOLUTION

The logo represents a sheet of protective film that is about to land on the "o" and wrap around it. Its smooth shape and bright gradients highlight the purity of the material. The secondary meaning develops when we read the sheet of plastic as a crown sitting atop the wordmark. This association with royalty, along with the typography that hints at futuristic industry, gives Reborn a global scale.
